3. Fees and billing

• The $99 Ad Page fee is due before we begin writing. Once we send you the first draft, it is not refundable.
• The $19 Premium fee is billed monthly through Stripe and renews until you cancel.
• You can cancel at any time. Cancelling takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not give partial-month refunds.
• All prices are in Canadian dollars, plus any taxes that apply.
• If a payment fails, we may suspend Premium features until it is paid.

4. If you cancel or a payment fails

Your Premium features and your Ad Page are taken down, and your listing returns to the free version. [Your choice: We keep your Ad Page for 90 days. If you restart Premium in that time, we put it back at no extra charge.]

5. Writing and changes

• We send a first draft within [7] business days of receiving your details.
• Two rounds of changes are included. Further changes are [quoted on request].
• Nothing is published until you approve it.

6. Your content

• You keep ownership of your text, photos and logos.
• You give us permission to show them on our website and in the directory, and to edit them to fit the page.
• You promise that you have the right to use what you send us, and that your details are accurate and not misleading.
• We own the page designs, templates and the directory itself.

7. Listings made from public information

We add basic business details from public sources. These listings are marked “Unverified” until the owner confirms them. We try to keep them accurate, but we cannot promise that every detail is correct or current. To correct or remove a listing, use the request form or contact us, and we will act on it.

8. No guarantees

We do not guarantee search ranking, website traffic, phone calls, quote requests or customers. Results depend on many things outside our control, including search engines. A listing, an Ad Page and a high position in a list are not an endorsement of a business by us.

9. Links

Listings link to business websites. Links on paid listings are marked as sponsored, as search engines ask. We are not responsible for the content or services of other websites.

10. Quote requests and dealings with businesses

If you send a quote request, we pass it to the business. Any agreement is between you and that business. We are not a party to it and are not responsible for the work, the price or the result.

11. Reviews and testimonials

Reviews and testimonials on this site come from real people who agreed to be quoted. We do not write fake reviews and we do not allow them. We may remove content that breaks these terms.

12. Using the site

Please do not misuse the site. That means no attempts to break or overload it, no collecting its data in bulk without our written permission, and nothing unlawful, misleading or harmful. We may remove content or suspend a listing that breaks these terms.

13. Limits on our responsibility

We provide the site and the directory as they are. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect or lost-profit losses, and our total responsibility to you for anything connected to the site is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the problem. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have that cannot lawfully be limited.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. If we make a big change that affects what you pay or get, we will tell paying customers by email before it applies to them.

15. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of [Manitoba / Nova Scotia] and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
